Winters Spooktacular Fun Run

DOWNTOWN WINTERS HARVEST FESTIVAL:

The three day Downtown Winters Harvest Festival will be on October 27th, 28th and ending on October 29th. The festival will include harvest themed events that are fun for the whole family the entire weekend. The 2022 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest is part of the Winters Harvest Festival.

Friday October 27th- 3 PM - 10 PM   Trick or Treating, Pumpkin Painting, Live Music, Food, Wine & More.

Saturday October 28th- 10 AM - 3 PM  120 Local Merchants, Live Music, Food, Wine & More.

Sunday October 29th- 8 AM  Winters High School Athletics- 2023 Winters Spooktacular Fun Run and Costume Contest.

RACE EVENT DESCRIPTION:

Grab your costume and running shoes and head out to Winters 2023 Halloween Spooktacular Fun Run on Sunday, October 29th.  We’re going to have a WICKEDLY good time.  This event is a thriller for the entire family.  In addition to the 1 mile, 5K & 10K, kids will scream with excitement on the 1 Mile Monster Dash. We will have an individual costume contest, as well as a best group costume contest.  Please join us for Winter’s 4th Annual Halloween Fun Run sponsored by the Winters Joint Unified School District, where all race proceeds are donated to the Winters High School Cross Country and Track Programs. So if you dare to challenge yourself to a spooky fun time, sign up TODAY and we’ll be waiting for you at the starting line…  Trick-or-Treat!  Happy Halloween!

Late Registration and Packet Pick-up 10/28/23 (Saturday) in front of Berryessa Gap Vineyards Tasting Room 15 Main Street Winters, Ca 95694 Winters 10-4 pm & Race Day 10/29/23 (Sunday Race day) Rotary Park 201 E Main Street Winters, Ca 95694 from 6:30-10:00 am. 

START TIMES:

8:00am  Mass Start 5K & 10K (3 Hour limit)          8:10am 1 mile timed run/walk           10:00am 1 Mile Kids Monster Dash

REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS:

All Races Finishers receive Medals. 1mile/5K/10K= Custom Medal, + Tech Tee + Chip Timing + One Free Hooby’s Beverage* (*Must be 21 Years Old) (Not Including Wine!) “ONLY FOR USE ON 10/29 FROM 8:00AM-12:00PM”.  1 Mile Monster Dash= Medal + T-shirt. (All Shirts Guaranteed before 10/13/23).

NOTE:

The 5K & 10K course is open to regular traffic, please observe all traffic laws. Volunteers with be at intersections along the course. The 5K & 10K course will start opening at 10:00 AM, there is a 3 hour Timed course limit for 1 mile, 5K and 10K. The start line will be separated by Pace Markers.(Strollers and well behaved Dogs allowed.) Please move Strollers and Dogs to the back of start line.  NO Skateboards or Bicycles allowed. GU will be ON COURSE!

AWARDS:

Place Awards for 1M&5K&10K Male and Female 1st, 2nd, 3rd place winners. Costume Contest prizes for Individual and Best Group choices.

FEES:

1 Mile Monster Dash $20.00.

I mile timed run  7/10 until 9/12 $30.00,  9/13 until 10/28 $35.00,  then $40.00 on Race Day.

5K 7/10 until 9/12 $30.00,  9/13 until 10/28 $35.00,  then $40.00 on Race Day.

10K 7/10 until 9/12 $35.00, 9/13 until10/28 $40.00, then $45.00 on Race Day.
