Wonderland of Lights 5k

Wonderland of Lights 5k and One Mile Fun Run routes begin at 100 N. Washington Ave. (Historic Telegraph Park/Stage) and will wind through downtown Marshall to a finish on the north side of the Historic 1901 Harrison County Courthouse. All 5k race times will be monitored by a timing chip through Sportspectrum from Shreveport, La.

 

Registration Information Pre-registration deadline is Friday, November 15, 2019. All pre-registered participants are guaranteed a T-shirt on race day. Remaining T-shirts will be available on a “first come, first served” basis to all late registration entries while supplies last. Runners and groups are strongly encouraged to wear seasonal costumes and lights (Santa, Elf, Reindeer, costumes etc.) during the run. Prizes will be awarded.

 

Entry Fees: 5k Run - $20.00 thru Nov. 15, Nov. 16 - Dec 2 - $25.00, Race day - $30.00 One Mile Fun Run   $20.00 thru Nov. 15, Nov. 16 - Dec 2 - $25.00, Race day - $30.00
All Races Children 12 and Under   $15.00 thru Nov. 15, Nov. 16 - Dec 2 - $20.00, Race day - $25.00

 

Awards Immediately following the run, an awards ceremony will be held at Telegraph Park Stage. Best Seasonal Costume, and Best Group Costumes in 14 and younger, and 15 and older age groups ~ receive a $50.00 gift card.

 

*The overall first three places for each gender in the 5K race will receive a: Gold medal plus $125.00 gift card ~ Silver medal plus $100.00 gift card ~ Bronze medal plus $75.00 gift card

 

*Medals will be awarded for the top 5K runner in each age category for male and female (see below).

Race Information *Pre-registration packet pickup will begin Monday, December 2 at the Visitors Center - 211 North Washington, Marshall, TX. *Race-day registration and packet pickup will begin at 5:00 p.m. in front of Telegraph Park – 100 North Washington Ave. One Mile Fun Run start is 6:00 p.m. - 5K Race start time is 6:30 p.m. -    *Route will close at 8:30 p.m.
