WVS Cherry Blossom 5 Mile Run/Tim Thomas Memorial/1 Mile Fun Walk

Come join us for the 43rd annual Cherry Blossom and 14th annual Tim Thomas Memorial 5 mile run.

Let's celebrate spring in NEPA! This event will be held at Kirby Park when the stunning cherry trees are in full bloom.

This race is in memory of Tim Thomas and scholarships will be awarded to a high school senior boy and girl runner.

A one mile fun walk will also be held.

For entering you will receive a choice of various Wyoming Valley Striders swag.

Light refreshments will be served after the race.

Club members receive a $2.00 discounted entry fee when using the Cherry Blossom coupon code.  The coupon code is 0507CB4317

The race directors reserve the right to accept or reject any entry.

Entry fee is not refundable.

Special trophies to the top male and female finishers. Medals to at least the top 3 males and top 3 females in each age group.  Ten year age groups will be split into 2 five year age groups if there are enough entries. No awards for the fun walk.

Registration on race day is from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the pavilion inside Kirby Park.  Please register early on race day.

Entry fee is $20.00 at the venue on race day.

We do not recommend the wearing of headphones!

Alcoholic beverages are not permitted in Kirby Park!

Participants are not permitted to be accompanied by animals.

Baby strollers of any type are not permitted!
