About the event
Join us for the inaugural YMCA 5K Run and Fun Walk on July 17 at Washington Park near Crown Center in Downtown Kansas City! This new event is being run in conjunction with the 2016 General Assembly of YMCAs being held in Kansas City and you are invited to be part of the fun! Participants will compete for overall and age group awards and all registrants will receive a short sleeve tech shirt. Help support the YMCA Challenger Program by participating in this fun event!

The top 3 overall male and female finishers will receive awards and the top three males and females in each of the following age groups will also receive age group awards:
12 and under, 13-19 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
