Kilimanjaro Stage Run

The Kilimanjaro Stage Run is a multi-day 260 kilometer adventure run (not a race) around the highest mountain in Africa. It is a unique destination running experience, named by National Geographic as “an adventure trip that gives back.”
The Kilimanjaro Stage run is led by Simon Mtuy, Tanzania’s foremost trail runner, expert mountain guide, and world-record holder. The run circumnavigates Mount Kilimanjaro on dirt trails and footpaths between 1400m and 2000m elevation that have been used by locals for hundreds of years while remaining far off the tourist beaten path. Run through lush rain forests, past waterfalls, and experience breathtaking views of Mount Kilimanjaro at every turn.
