Bedan Karoki and Aberu Kebede top the podium at 2014 Rock 'n' Roll Philadelphia Half Marathon

Kenya’s Bedan Karoki won the race with a time of 00:59:22 (his personal best). Cybrian Kotut took the second place in 00:59:58 and Geoffrey Bundi the third (01:01:25).

In the women’s race, the victory went to Aberu Kebede from Ethiopia. The finished the race in 01:08:39. The second place went to Caroline Rotich in 01:09:21. And 41 year old Deena Kastor finished third with a time of 01:09:36. She established a new word masters record for half-marathon. This is 20 seconds faster than the mark set by Russia’s Irina Permitina in 2008.

15,537 runners finished the half marathon.
