On April 18th 2015, the city of Bordeaux will host its first marathon, the first night marathon ever organized in France. The event will feature a marathon and a half marathon. The marathon can be run in a relay of 2 or 4 runners.
The §race_link(20570) starts on the quays of the Garonne river, near the Place des Quinconces. It crosses the river twice, on the Chaban-Delmas and Stone bridges, runs through the historic center (listed in the Unesco world heritage sites), goes to Pessac, Mérignac and Talence before returning the river and finishing on the Place de la Bourse.
The organizers expect 7,000 participants.
