Here is a selection of Ultramarathons organized in December 2013 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
New Zealand – Saturday December 7, 2013 – 06:00
Located at the South of New Zealand’s South Island, the 60km race follows the Kepler Track circuit. It offers a great variety of terrain and takes the runners as high as 1,400m.
Martinique – Saturday December 7, 2013 – 03:00
The name of the race transcribes pretty well its course, since it is a 133 km long, North to South crossing of the Martinique Island. The volcanic terrain offers 5,230m of elevation gain. 58 km and 33 km versions of the race are also organized.
United Kingdom – Derbyshire – Saturday January 11, 2014
This is a tough race! The runners have to complete the 268-mile race along the entire Pennine Way, from the heart of England, up to the Scottish Border within 7 days, despite the cold, snow and winds.
A few interviews about races held during the month of December have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
