Nakajima Hiroki outpaced more then 1520 runners to win in 02:34:57. He bested David Escolar Ballesteros who crossed the finish line 30 minutes 19 secondes behind him. Cheng-Ya Sha got the third place in 03:09:03.

Laguna Phuket International Marathon Koji Nishizawa won the race with a time of 02:37:53. Coming in second was Neil Pearson (02:47:16). Finishing third was Mario Maglinao (02:49:54). In the women’s race, Lany Cardona took top honors by finishing the race in 03:23:00 , ahead of Wilaiwan Kumpituk (03:24:33). Finishing third was Xiomara Templeton (03:31:10).
