Jiri, 9 November 2016. The runners are already accommodated in Jiri camp where tomorrow will begin the 2016 edition of the Everest Trail Race by The Elements Pure Coconut Water.

Kathmandu did welcome participants who during last two days did make sightseeing and they passed the medical exams as well as the required controls of mandatory technical material to make sure that everything will be working perfectly. They also had the opportunity to clarify any doubt during the breafing and received the start-number that they will be wearing from tomorrow.

Besides enjoying the Nepal capital, the runners had the opportunity of being able to know each other better. Runners and organization will be a family in the next six days at the Everest Trail Race by The Elements Pure Coconut Water.

Today, after seven hours of bus, runners have reached Jiri camp. Everyone has an assigned tent where rest tonight. The Nepalese runner Pasang Lama has joined the European favorites for final victory, Casey Morgan and Miguel Capó.

Obviously emotions are running very high hours before the starting of this demanding race in the Himalayas of Nepal, divided into six stages with a total distance of 160km and a difference in altitude of 30000m. World’s giants as Everest, Lhotse and Ama Dablam will be seen in a landscape that is perhaps the best possible scenario for a mountain race.

Tomorrow the first stage will take place between Jiri and Bhandar with 21,5km in length and 3795m of difference in altitude.
