Here is a selection of Ultramarathons organized in February 2014 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
["USA", "Texas", "Huntsville"]
The race is run on single tracks, under pinewoods on a 20-mile loop in the Huntsville State Park. With minimal elevation gain and a generous 30-hour cut-off, it is a great event to try the 100-mile distance.
["New Zealand", "Kuripapango"]
The race takes the runners through forest hills up to the highest point in the Kaweka Ranges and down into the heart of the Kawekas. The course is challenging and requires some orienteering.
["Spain", "Canary Islands", "Frontera"]
El Hierro, a volcanic island hosts the race and offers an extraordinary variety of pristine landscapes to the runners, as 60% of the island is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve.
