Here is a selection of Marathons organized in February 2015 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
Antartica – King George Island
Do you want to run a marathon on each continent? This one will take you to Antarctica, on a loop between the Chilean and Chinese research bases located on King George Island.
USA – Texas – Surfside Beach
The fast and flat, out and back course is run entirely on a sandy beach, along the warm waters of Gulf of Mexico. Have you ever tried to run a whole marathon on hard packed sand?
Japan – Kyoto
The course will take you though the gorgeous city of Kyoto, visiting seven UNESCO World Cultural Heritage sites and several other highlights of the City of Ten Thousand Shrines.
USA – Arizona – Glendale
The race is run in the West Valley of Phoenix and will go through 6 different cities. The course being quite fast and flat. It makes the IMS Arizona Marathon a great Boston Marathon qualifier race.
Bhutan – Punakha Dzong
Have you ever dreamed of visiting the small kingdom of Bhutan in the Himalayas, creator of the Gross National Happiness? You will run through rural countryside and villages, before finishing at the historic Punakha Dzong.
