The 5th edition of the Ice Trail Tarentaise Mizuno-Val d’Isère will take place during the weekend of July 11-12th 2015.

Part of the Sky Runner World Series, the ITT is the highest trail in Europe where the best trail runners of the world gather each year. Last year, the race was won by François D’Haene (see: Race record for François d’Haene at Ultra-Trail du Mont-Blanc 2014)

The course is difficult, technical but gorgeous. It sometimes turns into mountaineering and the altitude make it really hard to get to the finish line. Getting the finisher’s T-shirt is a real challenge.

In 2015, the organizers have set up a new race : Les Balcons de Val d’Isère (18 km/ 1,300m of elevation gain).

The runners can now choose between 3 races (Ice Trail Tarentaise Val d’Isère (65 km), Altispeed (32 km), and Les Balcons de Val d’Isère. The walkers can take part in La Montagnarde (13 km).

Registration of the different races will start on November 15th 2014.
