Here is a selection of Marathons organized in July 2013 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
Australia – Queensland – Sunday July 7, 2013 – 07:30
The race is held in one of the major holiday destination on Queensland’s coast. The flat and fast course leads the runners along scenic surf beaches. It is a great opportunity to set a PB.
United Kingdom – Wales – Sunday July 14, 2013 – 10:00
The race starts and finishes in Tudor Square, Tendy, after visiting the county of Pembrokeshire. The scenery is fantastic but beware, with its many hills the course is quite hard on the legs.
Mauritius – Sunday July 14, 2013 – 06:30
The island is another reknown destination for holidays with its sand beaches and blue lagoons. The marathon follows the coast from Le Morne to St Felix beach, offering spectacular views on the vast lagoon of the South.
Ecuador – Sunday July 14, 2013 – 05:30
The whole race is run in the beautiful historic center of the city. The race is no ordinary race to run due to the altitude. Don’t forget that the city is located 9,350 feet above the sea level. This makes it the highest capital city in the world.
Canada – Nova Scotia – Sunday July 28, 2013
The race is held in Barrington, the Lobster Capital of Canada. After a great race around the southwest tip of Nova Scotia, I wonder what you’ll have for dinner to celebrate.
A few interviews about races held during the month of July have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
