Here is a selection of Marathons organized in July 2014 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
Italy – Emilia-Romagna – Busana
Starting in Busana, you’ll run up to the top of Mt. Ventasso. On your way, you’ll run though chestnut forest, small villages and discover the wonders of the Appennino Tosco-Emiliano National Park.
USA – Alaska – Wrangell
The race is organized during a multi day festival celebrating the bears of Alaska. Does an angry bear running behind you helps you establish a new PB?
Switzerland – Valais – Zermatt
The race starts in St. Niklaus, goes to Zermatt and then up in the mountains to finish at Riffelberg. As soon as you reach Zermatt you’ll get an overwhelming sight on the Matterhorn came into view.
China – Xilinhot
The Grassland Extreme Marathon is run in the grasslands of China’s Inner Mongolia where the horse-riding archers of Genghis Khan used to gallop.
France – Pyrénées-Atlantiques – Bidarrai
The Basque Country is a hilly country. You’ll be able to check it for yourself while climbing the 3,100m of elevation gain offered by the gorgeous trails around Bidarrai.
A few interviews about races held during the month of July have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
