Here is a selection of Half Marathons organized in July 2015 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
USA – Oregon – Dundee
The hilly half marathon is run in the beautiful vineyards of the Dundee Hills region. The course changes each year in order to highlight different vineyards and wineries.
USA – Maine – Portland
The race takes place in the heart of Portland’s Old Port district. You will run through West End neighborhood, Eastern Promenade, and Back Cove trails. The start and finish line is located at the Ocean Gateway Terminal.
Spain – Castile and León – El Burgo de Osma
You will run three laps in the city, running by its most iconic monuments (Cathedral, Calle Mayor, Plaza Mayor, Hospital of St. Augustine, Diocesan Seminary, Church of San Antón, …) . The route is practically flat and offers lots of shades.
India – Meghalaya – Shillong
The race will take you through mist-covered valleys, quaint villages and fantastic views of rolling hills before we reach Sohra or Cherrapunjee. You are going to run amidst the clouds. However, in certain pockets there are holes in the clouds enabling you to see undulating hills and steep gorges.
Ireland – Munster – Maharees, Castlegregory
You will run the whole half marathon on the beach, on sand, around the beautiful Brandon Bay. You’ll start at Fahamore on the Maharees peninsula and run to Fermoyle point before getting back to Fahamore where the finish line is located.
A few interviews about races held during the month of July have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
