Here is a selection of Marathons organized in June 2015 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
USA – Utah – Provo
The beautiful course begins in Wallsburg, and runs into Provo Canyon. It features much of the diverse scenery offered in Utah County. During the race you will run along canyon roads that follow the Provo River.
USA – Maine – Lubec
The race starts at the most easterly point in the USA. It then will take you over gently rolling course on a trip to Canada, visiting forests, fishing villages, lighthouses while having great views of both Passamaquoddy Bay and the Bay of Fundy before getting back to Lubec to cross the finish line.
USA – Minnesota – Two Harbors
You will start in the middle of the woods, just outside Two Harbors, Minnesota, run along the beautiful shores of Lake Superior on Old Highway 61 and cross the finish line Duluth’s Canal Park.
Ireland – Munster – Waterford
Why Viking Marathon? Because Waterford was founded by the Vikings in 914. You will start right in the heart of the Viking Triangle, wander through the historic city streets before heading out to the beautiful seaside town of Tramore where the finish line is located.
Croatia – Dražice
Hahlici, also know as „Grobnik Alps“ are a beautiful part of the west plate of Gorski kotar, Croatia composed of many different peaks. The trail race will take you across grassy planes overlooking Kvarner bay, the islands and the deeply indented Mudna dol canyon.
