4,600 runners gathered in southern Czech Republic to take part in the 4th edition of the Mattoni České Budějovice Half Marathon and 10 km races.
The competition in the men’s race was fierce, since 3 men had already run under the one-hour mark. 2014 World Champion Geoffrey Kamworor won the race in 1:00:09.
The rest of the podium is also Kenyan with Henry KIPLAGAT (01:02:46) and Silas NGETICH (01:03:37).
The Ethiopian Betelhem MOGES won the women’s division with a time of 01:12:31. Kenyans Lucy LIAVOGA and Vicoty CHEPKEMOI followed in respectively 01:14:13 and 01:15:03.
1,968 runners finished the Half marathon race.
