The Mah Sing Foundation Charity Fun Run 2015 is a 4.7km fun run that aims to promote a healthy lifestyle while aspires to educate and raise awareness on autism. It also aims to provide financial and medical assistance to children who are suffering from autism.

Date: 7th November 2015 (Saturday)
Venue: Perdana Botanical Gardens, KL
Time: 8am
Distance: 4.7km
Participation Fee: RM45 (12 years and above)
*For kids below the age of 12, they may run for fun accompanied with at least one paid registered parent or guardian.

Registration for the run will open in mid-August, and is targeting to garner at least 1000, to a maximum of 1500 runners.

There will be fun activities along the route during the run, including a bubble zone and an exciting color palm arena.

All registration fees will be donated to several non-profit organisations, including Inisiatif Sokongan Austime Nouri and the Little Yellow Flower Education Foundation in providing aid for autistic children, especially those from lower-income families.

Mah Sing Foundation, the Organizer

Mah Sing Foundation is the brainchild of Mah Sing’s Group Managing Director cum Group Chief Executive Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Leong Hoy Kum as he knows that a consolidated effort in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) will be more effective and impactful in benefiting the needy.

The Foundation is a charitable trust established by Mah Sing Group Berhad dedicated to helping those in need. To consolidate the Group’s charitable efforts, Mah Sing Foundation has been set up to receive and administer funds solely for medical, educational and charitable purposes as well as seek to raise more funds via annual fund raising activities and events. As an approved tax-exempted charitable organization by the Inland Revenue Board, all donations made to the Foundation by any corporation or private citizen will be tax exempted.
