Here is a selection of Half Marathons organized in March 2015 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
USA – Arizona – Oro Valley
The event will celebrate its 10th anniversary next year. You will run in the foothills of the Santa Catalina Mountains and visit the picturesque Honey Bee Canyon. A great desert winter road run!
United Kingdom – Liverpool – Liverpool
More than 8,500 runners took part in this charity run last year. You’ll start in the Pier Head area and visit many of the Liverpool’s landmarks, including the Sefton Park and the Liverpool Marina.
USA – Texas – San Antonio
You will start with a cannon blast at the famous Fort Alamo in San Antonio and get back to it after 13.1 miles of running through the city’s streets to cross the finish line.
Czech Republic – Prague
Starting and finishing at Jan Palach Square near the Rudolfinum, you will run along the Vltava river, pass Folimanka park, cross the Legií Bridge and visit the Northern part of Prague before returning to the historical city center. Each year 12,500 runners take part in this very popular race.
USA – Oregon – Portland
The largest running event in Oregon adds a half marathon to its races. You’ll follow the Shamrock 15k course, including the Terwilliger Hills, and add an extra 1.9 mile past the 15k turn-around point before turning around and get back to the finish line.
