Here is a selection of Marathons organized in March 2016 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
USA – Texas – The Woodlands
The marathon is run on a single loop course that is quite flat. This makes the race a good opportunity to qualify for the Boston Marathon in Texas. The course record is 2:15:37.
USA – Virginia – Virginia Beach
During this fast and flat race held in Virginia Beach, you’ll visit the site where the Jamestown colonist first landed in the US and cross the finish line on the famous boardwalk.
Taiwan – Taipei City
Starting in New Taipei City, the marathon will take you along the North coast of Taiwan. 14 km and 7 km races are also organized during the event.
France – Dordogne – St Léon/Vézère
The race takes place on the technical trails of the Vézère Valley in Dordogne, France, a UNESCO World Heritage Site with more than 3,000 ft of vertical gain.
Germany – Schleswig-Holstein – Midlum
The roads and trails of the Föhr Island (the 2nd largest German island in the North Sea) host the marathon. What will be the weather this year? Snow, wind, rain or clear blue skies?
A few interviews about races held during the month of March have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
