The winner of the 3rd MOHM is Daniele d’Onofrio, the first man to finish the race in 1h 06’21”. At the second place is Abdelkebir Lamachi, 1h 06’40”; the third is Gilio Iannone, 1h 08’29”.
For the women category the winner is Malika Benlafkir, 1h 17’48”; at the second place Loredana Brusciano,1h 24’16”; the third is Fabiola Desiderio, 1h 26’21”.
The third edition of the International road race MOSTRA D’OLTREMARE HALF MARATHON – MOHM co-organized by the ASD RuNaples in cooperation with municipality of Napoli and the Institute Mostra d’Oltremare, have seen records in terms of numbers for race taken place in South of Italy : 2.736 athletes, hundreds coming out of the region and attendes from China, United States, Brazil and many european countries.
The Mayor of Naples, Luigi de Magistris , has kicked off the start of the race.
The race started in a fantastic sunny day with an ideal temperature to run the distance of the half marathon (10°) within the most beautiful angles of the City of Naples, from Viale Kennedy along the sea – with Casteldell’Ovo and the imponent Maschio Angioino – trough the largest streets of the historical centre until coming back to Fuorigrotta and finishing in the Park of the Mostra d’Oltremare by the splendid scenography of theFontana dell’Esedra.
The peculiarity of the MOHM is as well the Home and Expo of the all participants and organizing team; the main stand of the MOHM has welcomed the athletes before and after the race with all the services provided indoor.
The race is part of the 2016’ Regional League FIDAL for half marathons. The event is already part of AIMS (Association of International Marathons and Distance Races) which includes more than 300 races around the world.
Further the MOHM is proud to announce the cooperation with RunCzech, the organization leader of road races in the Czech Republic including the Prague International Marathon.
The MOHM is not only a running event: since his foundation the organizers are committed in promoting various aspects of the prevention medicine.
Running helps to avoid cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and cancers above all the colorectal cancer.
