Here is a selection of Marathons organized in November 2013 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
Italy – Sicily – Sunday November 3, 2013 – 09:00
The challenging race takes place on the wild North East slopes of Mt Etna, featuring dark lava flows and pine forests. The runners climb up to Pizzi Deneri (2847m) while enjoying the view of the steamy craters at the top of the volcano.
USA – California – Saturday November 9, 2013 – 06:30
The point-to-point course begins in the gorgeous Goleta Valley among lush lemon and avocado orchards, winds through Santa Barbara’s picturesque Mesa community, before finishing on the coast after a two-mile descent.
USA – Virginia – Saturday November 16, 2013 – 08:00
The scenic course winds through the Richmond’s most historic and beautiful neighborhoods and along the James River where it will finish with a great after-race party.
Japan – Sunday November 17, 2013 – 09:00
Kobe, which is considered one of the most cosmopolitan city in Japan hosts one of the largest marathons in the country, and a member of the Top 15 largest marathons in the world in 2012. Starting at the Municipal Office, the race finishes on the Port island.
Thailand – Sunday November 17, 2013
The loop course visits many of the historical landmarks of the capital like the Temple of the Emerald Buddha, the National Museum or the Chao Phraya River. The race starts and finishes in front of the Royal Grand Palace.
