Here is a selection of Half Marathons organized in October 2014 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
Laos – Luang Prabang
The tropical race is run in the beautiful UNESCO World Heritage Site of Luang Prabang in North Central Laos. It has no fees but runners are asked to give a minimum contribution to local charities.
United Kingdom – Highland – Aviemore
The Cairngorm Mountains serve as a backdrop for the whole race. You’ll run through the Glenmore Forest Park or around Loch Morlich. The race finishes in Aviemore. A great way to experience the Highlands without the hills!
New Zealand – Cromwell
Have you ever visited the South Island of New Zealand? The course will take you around many of Cromwell’s features including residential areas, Old Cromwell, the Anderson Park facilities, Lake Dunstan lakeside, with views of orchards and vineyards.
USA – California – Healdsburg
Welcome to the Golden vineyards of Healdsburg, Ca. The gentle rolling course will take you through the Alexander and Dry Creek Valleys on backcountry roads to visit vineyards and wineries.
Canada – Ontario – Thornbury, Ontario
The course winds its way through Thornbury and Clarksburg, then out into the apple country of the beautiful Beaver Valley.
A few interviews about races held during the month of October have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
