KL Marathon is Malaysia’s major running event with about 35,000 participants in the different races. The marathon route lets you run by the world famous Twin Towers and many landmarks within Kuala Lumpur.

Ireland – Leinster – Dublin

The end of October in Dublin offers the perfect temperature to perform in a marathon. The flat course follows a single lap starting and finishing the center of Ireland’s Capital City and runs through Phoenix Park or around the University College Dublin.

Medibank Melbourne Marathon

Australia – Victoria – Melbourne

The marathon starts and finishes at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. This relatively flat course will take you to the most iconic sites of Melbourne, including Albert park Lake, the Royal Botanic Gardens and a long section along the beaches of Port Phillip Bay.

Detroit Free Press Marathon

USA – Michigan – Detroit

The marathon is indeed an international marathon. The course will take you through downtown Detroit in the US and through Windsor in Ontario. You will cross the border twice first on a bridge, then in a tunnel before running around the western part of Belle Isle island. Get your passport ready!

Ecomaratona del Chianti

Italy – Tuscany – Castelnuovo Berardenga

The only trail marathon of this newsletter takes place in the middle of the vineyards of Chianti in Tuscany. You will start and finish the race at Castelnuovo Beradenga near Sienna and enjoy 900m+ of elevation gain, climbing the typical Tuscan hills.
