Register before April 30 and save
Tulsa, Okla. (April 13, 2010) – Registration is now open for the Williams Route 66 Marathon scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, in Tulsa, Okla.
Last year, thousands of participants from around the world participated in the Williams Route 66 Marathon events.
“The historic highway’s route through Tulsa coupled with the city’s ideal fall temperatures and beautiful landscape are quickly making the Williams Route 66 Marathon a favorite among runners looking for a fall marathon,” said Chris Lieberman, executive director of the race.
A special discounted price of $65 for the marathon and $45 for the half marathon are available now through April 30, 2010, when the prices will go up to $75 and $50, respectively. Marathon relay teams can also save $10 by registering by April 30, 2010.
Individuals planning to participate in the Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon on Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, will save an additional $5 when they register for both an August and November race at the same time.
“We want to encourage participants to register early and give themselves ample time to train to maximize their performance,” said Lieberman.

About the Williams Route 66 Marathon
The Williams Route 66 Marathon in Tulsa, Okla., is set for Sunday, Nov. 21, 2010, and the Williams Route 66 Quarter Marathon is Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010. Events are held annually the Sunday before Thanksgiving and the first Saturday in August, respectively.
