The thunderstorm warnings and severe winds had the organizers cancel the races scheduled on Saturday (Quarter Marathon & 5K). But the Marathon and Half Marathon held on Sunday could proceed smoothly.
Louisiana Marathon
Taylor Simoneaux got a win, finishing with a time of 02:38:18. Benjamin Maas earned runner-up honours with a time of 02:44:21. Benjamin Jones (02:45:23) made notched third place.
In the ladies race, Rachel Booth claimed victory with a time of 02:43:57 , followed by Erica Schramm who finished with a time of 03:00:34. Finishing third was Amy Natalini (03:00:49).

Half at the Louisiana Marathon
Keith Kotar outpaced more then 2193 runners to win in 01:11:22. He finished 2 minutes 23 secondes ahead of Andrew Foxenberg. George Fagan (01:14:08) made notched third place.
In the ladies race, Karleen Glueck took top honours by finishing the race in 00:27:57 . She finished 46 minutes 21 secondes ahead of Desiree Linden. Jessica Jones got the third place in 01:26:14.
