In the ladies race, Ababel Yeshaneh Brihane scored victory with a time of 01:04:31, establishing the new world record for the distance. She is followed by Brigid Jepchirchir Kosgei who finished with a time of 01:04:49. The third place went to Rosemary Wanjiru Monicah with a time of 01:05:34.
