More than 27 000 runners crossed the finish line on the Coney Island boardwalk, after a 13.1 mile run through the streets of Brooklyn that had started at the Brooklyn Museum.
The victory went to Ayele Megersa Feisa who crossed the finish line at 01:04:22 01:04:22, followed by Abu Kebede Diriba who finished with a time of 01:04:38. The third place went to Harbert Okuti with a time of 01:04:41
In the women’s race, it was Caroline Lefrak who took the top spot in 01:14:45 . Esther Erb Atkins earned runner-up honors with a time of 01:14:50While Jane Vongvorachoti came in third at 01:15:13
