Half Marathon results
Last year’s San Diego Half Marathon runner-up Sean Barrett (1:09:39) bested more than 5,600 participants to win this year’s event in Southern California.
The USATF certified course began at the San Diego Convention Center next to Petco Park and included a trip around the San Diego Bay before winding through downtown and ending back at the Gaslamp District.
John Franklin finished second with a time of 1:10:19.
In a tight race for third, Conor Brandt (1:11:47) came in just seconds ahead of Javier Madrid (1:11:53).

For the women, it was Bonnie Keating (1:19:28) cutting more than a minute from her fourth-place finish a year ago, to take the top spot.
Bridie McCarey earned runner-up honors with a time of 1:19:59, while Kati Snyder (1:20:57) rounded out the top three.
