Jonah Chesum set a Chippenham Half Marathon course record by nearly four minutes with a time of 1:03:51.
Nearly 1,400 runners were on hand for the Wiltshire race around Chippenham, England that touches the villages of Tytherton Lucas, East Tytherton, Avon and Langley Burrell.
Last year’s winner Sam Humphrey secured second with a time of 1:12:22.
He also won it in 2013.
Dominic Dunn (1:16:06) held off Stephanie O’Halloran (1:16:24) for third.
For the women, it was Wendy Nicholls (1:22:54) finishing narrowly ahead of Kate Towerton (1:23:19) for first.
Natalie Plummer (1:26:04) rounded out the top three with a time of 1:26:04.
She finished sixth a year ago.
