In just her third ever marathon, Shannon Crawford (1:24:49) outpaced more than 18,000 runners to win the Disney Princess Half Marathon in Orlando, Florida. The women-geared, princess themed race started just outside Epcot and worked its way to Cinderella’s Castle inside Disney’s Magic Kingdom and back, with Disney princesses lining the way. Brooke Adams took second with a time of 1:26:10. In a tight race for third, last year’s runner-up Heather Schulz (1:27:06) managed to hold off Brittany Truitt (1:27:12).
