Jesse Davis (2:17:59.9) bested roughly 4,000 runners to win the eighth annual Indianapolis Monumental Marathon in downtown Indiana.
Davis finished second in 2012.
Bryant Jensen earned runner-up honors with a time of 2:20:49.0.
Jonathan Gries (2:22:25.0) rounded out the top three.
For the women, it was Nicole Michmerhuizen (2:41:37.8) running a personal best by more than eight minutes to take the top spot.
In a tight race for second, Melissa Hardesty (2:45:08.3) managed to hold on against Katie Schiemann (2:45:37.5).
Harry Dixon (1:04:24.2) managed to hold off Andrew Lesser (1:04:30.8) and nearly 7,300 other runners to win the Indianapolis Monumental Half Marathon.
Tommy Kauffmann (1:04:32.5) came in just seconds ahead of Zachary Mayhew (1:04:39.6) for third.
For the women, it was Jebichi Yator (1:14:12.4) taking the top spot.
Kristina Aubert (1:14:55.1) finished less than a second in front of Erin Vergara (1:14:55.7) for second.
