Half Marathon results
Ayele Megersa Feisa (1:05:46) beat a field of nearly 8,600 finishers to win the Staten Island Half Marathon in New York.
The race was the last stop of the New York Road Runners Five-Borough Series.
Diriba Degefa Yigezu (1:06:28) earned runner-up honors with a time of 1:06:28.
Not too far off in third was Teklu Tefera Deneke (1:07:01).

For the women, it was last year’s runner up Fiona Bayly (1:22:53) finishing with an almost identical time to take the top spot.
Irene Kalbian (1:24:50) came in less than a minute later for second.
Jessica Chichester (1:25:06) coming in just ahead of Nicole Neglia (1:25:17) for third.
