Half Marathon results
Morris Gachaga (1:02:40) finished just ahead of John Kipsang Lotiang (1:02:54) to win the Medio Maraton Villa de Madrid in the heart of Spain.
Philip Koech took third with a time of 1:04:33.
More than 16700 runners completed the course.

For the women, it was Poline Wanjikn Njern (1:12:39) taking the top spot.
Rehima Serro Hussen (1:14:53) cut close to a minute from her fourth-place finish a year ago to earn runner-up honors.
Clarisse Cruz came in a close third with a time of 1:15:14.
