The only runner to average less than six minutes per mile, Daniel Joyce (1:15:13) outpaced more than 1,600 participants to win the South Shore Half Marathon around Norwell, Massachusetts.
Whitney Hall (1:19:51 managed to hold off Tim Duduch (1:20:16) to take second.
For the women, it was Amanda Nurse coming in comfortably ahead of the field.
Her 1:21:05 finish was good for fourth overall.
Securing second was Sarah Stirling with a time of 1:26:50.
Holly Madden (1:27:45) wasn’t far behind in third.
