Last year’s runner-up Kojo Kyereme (1:07:50) cut six and a half minutes from his time a year ago to beat a field of more than 4,000 in the Windsor Half Marathon held just south of Windsor, England.
Set to views of Windsor Castle in the background, the course guides runners around and through Windsor Great Park.
Toby Lambert took second with a time of 1:12:08.
Alexander Miller (1:13:21) rounded out the top three.
For the women, it was Samantha Amend (1:22:27) defending her title with a slight faster time than she turned in a year ago.
Lesley Locks earned runner-up honors with a time of 1:23:09.
Hannah Worthington finished in third at 1:24:37.
