Cosmas Kiplimo Lagat (2:08:14) set a new course record on way to winning the 32nd Maraton de la Ciudad de Sevilla in Spain.
More than 10,800 runners completed the course which included stretches through the Plaza de España and Maria Luisa Park, while passing landmarks like the Torre del Oro and La Giralda, before ending in La Maestranza.
Carles Castillejo Salvador came in second with a time of 2:11:29.
Hassane Ahouchar (2:11:39) managed to hold off Sibusio Nzima (2:11:43) for third.

For the women, it was Paula Gonzalez Berodia (2:31:18) beating out Kaoutar Boulaid (2:31:26) for first.
In a tight race for third, Estela Navascues Parra (2:32:49) edged Eunice Jeptoo (2:33:13).
