James Lander (1:08:56) came in comfortably ahead of a field of more than 15,000 to win the 10th annual Disneyland Half Marathon in Anaheim, California.
Billed as “The Happiest Race on Earth” the routinely sold-out race starting at Disney’s California Adventure, leads runners down Disneyland’s Main Street, U.S.A and out into the city of Anaheim including a trip through Angel Stadium before ending at the Disneyland Hotel.
Valdir Aparecido Bueno de Camargo came in second with a time of 1:15:16.
He finished first in the 10km race the day before.
Hunter Sapienza (1:16:46) rounded out the top three.
For the women, it was Momoko Tanaka taking the top spot with a time of 1:21:30.
Last year’s winner Jennifer Berry (1:23:21) finished second despite coming in slightly ahead of her winning time from 2014 (1:23:33).
The pair swapped places in this year’s 10K race.
Beth Woodward (1:25:05) came in third with a time of 1:25:05.
