Results: Morseman mows down field in Mississippi
Marathon results
Bryan Morseman (2:35:13) left a field of more than 750 runners in his dust to win the Mississippi Blues Marathon in Jackson, Mississippi. Joseph Clack came in a distant second at 2:56:54. Christian Lawton (3:01:05) legged out third over Steve Savage (3:01:21).

For the women, it was Shandra Moore (3:15:47) finishing first. Jessica Jones earned runner-up honors with a time of 3:22:43. Amanada Rossolimo (3:23:31) rounded out the top three.

Half Marathon results
Ryan Crandall (1:21:07) outran close to 1,900 runners to win the Mississippi Blues Half Marathon. Hastings Puckett placed second with time of 1:24:00. Kenneth Newburger (1:24:55) managed to hold on against Aaron Gast (1:25:21) for third. For the women, it was Brooke Brown (1:28:23) winning with ease. Kristi Hall came in second at 1:35:02. In a tight race for third, Elizabeth Alexander (1:38:44) finished just steps ahead of Adrienne Macke (1:38:45) and Rachel Aubert (1:38:46).
