Jonathan Mott (1:15:54) defended his title in the First Watch Sarasota Half Marathon, despite finishing four minutes slower than year ago.
More than 2,100 runners took part in the 11th annual event off the west coast of Florida.
Christopher Trebilcock secured second with a time of 1:16:50.
He finished fifth a year ago.

For the women, it was Jacki Wachtel (1:23:51) finishing well ahead of the field to defend her title.
She cut close to two minutes from her mark in 2015.
Erin Gollery earned runner-up honors this year with a time of 1:28:45.
Katalin Nagy (1:31:39) came in third.
