David Nilsson (1:10:41) bested a field of more than 12,500 to win the 37th running of the Stockholm Halvmarathon in Sweden.
He finished third in 2012.
The top five spots on the city tour were decided by 38 seconds.
Anders Fransson (1:11:00) held off 2012 and 2013 winner Haben Idris (1:11:06) to take second.
Idris cut almost two and a half minutes from his seventh-place finish a year ago.
For the women, it was winner Isabellah Andersson (1:17:20) back on top for the sixth time in seven years.
She finished fifth a year ago.
Fellow podium perennial Frida Lunden (1:19:17) cut almost three minutes from her third-place finish in 2014 to take second for the third time in four years.
Mikaela Larsson rounded out the top three with a time of 1:19:47.
