Ryan Cosens (1:09:01) survived a field of almost 7,800 runners to win the Rock ‘n’ Roll Los Angeles Halloween Half Marathon in California.
The course, which starts and ends at the Staples Center, takes runners past the University of Southern California and around the L.A. Memorial Coliseum, working its way back past the L.A. Convention Center and on to downtown L.A. before finishing back at the home of the Lakers and Clippers.
Jose Madera (1:09:25) managed to hold off James Lander (1:09:48) for second.
For the women, it was Anna Corrigan (1:22:24) coming in comfortably ahead of the field.
Isabelle Oblom (1:30:00) was first to follow at 1:30:00.
Kelly Wickstrom rounded out the top three with a time of 1:33:43.
