Marathon results
Vito Sardella (2:35:19) easily won the La Maratona delle Cattedtrali (Puglia Marathon) along the coast in Giovinazzo, Italy.
Moliterni Giuseppe secured second with a time of 2:42:08.
Cosmo John (2:51:37) rounded out the top three.
For the women, it was Francesca Mele (3:23:37) finishing first in a tight one.
Mary Dibenedetto earned runner-up honors with a time of 3:24:58.
Angela Latorre finished a distant third at 3:33:05.

Half Marathon results
Rosario Livatino (1:12:31) rolled in the Puglia Half Marathon.
Pasquale de Chirico came in second with a time of 1:15:43.
Logging a third-place finish was Michele la Vista at 1:19:49.
For the women, it was Mariangela Bozzano (1:41:51) taking the top spot.
In a tight race for second, Marilena Piccirilli (1:42:48) managed to hold off Gabriella Negrini (1:43:06).
