Abraham Niyonkuru (1:03:20) came in just steps ahead of Sang Kibiwott (1:03:22) to win the Auray-Vannes Half Marathon in Brittany, France.
Well over 4,000 runners finished the rainy day race.
Getinet Gedamu rounded out the top three with a time of 1:04:07.
For the women, it was Betty Murungi (1:15:57) winning a race of her own decided by two seconds.
On her heels in second was Daria Mykhailova (1:15:59).
Gladys Keburo Otero (1:16:02) finished just five seconds out of first for third.
She was the only other runner to come in under an hour and 20 minutes.
