Here is a selection of Half Marathons organized in September 2013 that were previously featured in our monthly newsletter.
USA – California – Sunday September 1, 2013
The race is run in the City of Anaheim or through the Disneyland® Resort. It is a great way to experience Disney’s magic while running or combine family fun week-end with a race.
Germany – Lower Saxony – Saturday September 7, 2013 – 12:45
The course is a large round about the sandy island of Borkum (the largest and westernmost of the East Frisian Islands in the North Sea) that the participants will run twice.
Canada – Alberta – Sunday September 8, 2013 – 09:15
The course follows a beautiful route through woodlands, beside mountain streams, and through a historic mine site. Stunning view on the surrounding mountains is guaranteed.
New Zealand – Sunday September 22, 2013
The race starts and finishes in Whangarei, the Northernmost city in New-Zealand. With the semi-tropical climate of the region, runners will certainly appreciate that most of the route is run close to the water (river or sea).
France – Alpes-de-Haute-Provence – Sunday September 22, 2013 – 10:30
The course is not particularly difficult, since it presents a 378 meter elevation drop. It offers gorgeous sceneries of the Haute Provence Geological Nature Reserve, including two spectacular canyon crossing. In late september, the vegetation is flamboyant, alternating in shades of red and yellow.
A few interviews about races held during the month of September have already been published in this blog. Check them out.
