Louisiana Marathon
North America – USA – West South Central – Louisiana
Held in the capital city of Baton Rouge the Louisiana Marathon® features a fast, flat, runner-friendly path through the lakes, along the river, around downtown, on the university campus and in historic neighborhoods.
Ishigaki Marathon
Asia – Japan
Located in southwestern Japan, the island of Ishigaki is renown for its beaches and snorkeling sites. It also offers a road marathon whose course runs around the southern tip of the island.
Funchal Marathon
Europe – Portugal
Despite its quite mountainous environment, Madeira’s capital city hosts a flat and friendly marathon. If you’ve got some energy left after the race, you’ll be able to head for the mountains and explore the levadas.
Yoma Yangon International Marathon
Asia – Burma
The event is Myanmar’s largest and Yangon’s only marathon. It showcases the blend of modern and rustic architecture that make the city unique and visits its most significant landmarks such as Botahtaung Pagoda, Shwedagon Pagoda or Inya Lake.
Lake Mead Marathon
North America – USA – Mountain Region – Nevada
The race is a journey within Lake Mead National Recreation Area where you’ll run on mountainous paved trails. January is a great month to enjoy the desert!
