Until next year Jerusalem was only hosting a half marathon and a 10k race. In 2011, the organizers have decided to add a marathon distance race to the event.
The course will lead the runners through many wonderful sites, filled with history such as Mount Scopus, Old City Wall, Jaffa Gate, Zion Gate…
Registration has opened. The organizers expect up to 10 000 runners coming from all over the world.
This new marathon will be the third marathon organized in Israël, after Tel Aviv and Tiberias
