About the event
I will be holding the second annual, Dashing for Donuts 5K and kids 1 mile fun run on June 9th! It will be held on the El Dorado Trail from the town of El Dorado to the turn around at Forni Road. The race will be on a paved trail and uphill on the way out, but downhill on the way back. Once you're finished, you get a donut!
All proceeds from the race will go to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition, (NOCC) -Team Teal. I am a 14 year survivor of ovarian cancer and a team member of NOCC - Team Teal to run the Berlin Marathon. NOCC helps all women diagnosed with ovarian cancer and educates along with supporting them.
