We’re back! The State News is bringing their 2nd 5k to East Lansing. This April, join us for The State News’ Glow Run 5k to support mental health awareness. The Glow Run will take place as the sun sets on campus. Each runner will get a shirt and glow sticks to wear during the run! There will be a DJ playing music, sponsors giving out free swag, and snacks after the race!
The Glow Run will benefit The Listening Ear, which provides a 24-hour free crisis services to anyone in need. Since its inception in 1969, they have talked to more than 300,000 callers and walk-ins and are the oldest operating crisis center in the nation. The Listening Ear deals with a wide variety of crises, including drugs and alcohol, sexual assault, suicide, and depression.
March 30th is the last day to register to be gaurenteed a t-shirt of your size. April 6th is the last day to sign-up before registration increases. Don’t wait! Sign up today!
